Track Panel and Mixer Panel Layouts. You have available three different track and mixer panel layouts to choose from, and indeed (as you will learn later) you can customize these to suit your own requirements and preferences. For consistency, the examples in this guide mostly use the defaults Track Layout A and Mixer Layout A. In most cases the track panels shown assume that the mixer has been closed: if your mixer is open, you might possibly wish to use the mixer controls rather than the track control panel (TCP).
